SOLUTION

a- Let’s differentiate the given equation of C.

y=2+10x12-2x32

dydx=5x-12-3x12

=5x12-3x12

dydx=5x-3x

b- ​​ The expression found in part (a) is the equation of tangent or the gradient function of the curve. To find the exact value of gradient at x=2, substitute the value of ​​ x in the equation tangent.​​ 

dydx=5x-3x

dydx=52-32

dydx=52x22-32

dydx=522-32

dydx=522-622

dydx=-22
